Richard Freehill is a member of the Ramshaw Real Estate team, working currently in commercial as well as residential real estate.
After distinguishing himself for 30 years as a teacher, principle and superintendent, Dick retired from the Pontiac Schools Superintendency in 1995. In 1997 he served as Interim Director of the Urbana/Champaign Sanitary District.
While attending the University of Illinois, Dick earned three degrees in Education: a Bachelors of Science, Master of Educational Administration, and a Education Administrative Specialist Degree.
Having lived and worked in Champaign-Urbana most of his life, Dick has developed an extensive networks of colleagues, friends and peers in the realty profession. He can deliver maximum exposure for any real estate need.
He has been active in community affairs through volunteer work, having served on the boards of the Champaign McKinley YMCA, Champaign County Special Education Cooperative and the Pontiac Rotary Club. Dick is a past president of the Illinois Association of School Administrators (Illini Division) and a life member of the University of Illinois Alumni Association.
