You Build It!

A maintenance provider on Ramshaw's development team, Jason James and his family were part of the 2008 You Built It! project.

This year you have accomplished miracles for four new home-owning families through...

H: Hard work in the Restore, on the build site, on committees, gift wrapping, donations.
A: Your attitude of caring that spreads through the community and encourages others to give.
B: Building relationships with our community, working with other volunteers, home owners and community members.
I: Ideals and values shared, demonstrating God's love and your belief that it is more blessed to give than to receive.
T: Time. Together you donated more than 20,000 of your hours.
A: Assembling for a common purpose, becoming part of something greater.
T: Teaching others the skills you posses, so they in turn can teach others and multiply your gifts.

Thank you to all of our friends and supporters who attended the You Built It! Volunteer Appreciation Party. Thank you for allowing us to celebrate you. Special congratulations and thanks to awardees Margie Delheimer (Jill of All Trades), Linda Randall (Community Connections), Carolyn Rice (Community Connections) and introducing the George Kieffer: Living the Spirit of Habitat for Humanity Award, given this inaugural year to...George Kieffer.
