Garbage Disposal Problems

First, turn off the switch to the garbage disposal. The disposal unit under your sink will have a reset button. See the reset button in the illustration to the right. Push the button to reset the unit. Then turn the garbage disposal switch back on. If the unit does not operate, then there may be something jammed in the unit.

Do not attempt to use the garbage disposal if there is something jammed in the unit. Please submit a maintenance request.
