Metter Athletic's first annual "Next Level Speed & Agility Symposium" will be held this Saturday, December 12, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This symposium gives Mettler Athletic an opportunity to bring in coaches from across the area and teach them the many training techniques and drills that we use with our athletes on a daily basis. The symposium is designed to aid coaches in their own program design for their athletes. Garrett Arndt, Mark Germano, Lorenzo Rodriguez, Jeff Schroder, and guest speaker Jimmy Price will be presenting information that covers the full range of speed, agility, and injury prevention. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Mettler Athletic's "Pre-Season Baseball and Softball" program will run from January 4 through February 26 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. This is a progressive 8-week program for athletes ages 14-18 in which certified and professional coaches strive to add agility, durability, power, and speed to the game of each athlete. In addition to explosive ability and conditioning, the athlete will work with our baseball or softball skill instructors on hitting and throwing mechanics.

There will also be a Mettler Athletic Open House from Monday, January 4 through Saturday, January 9. mettlerathletic.com.
