Ramshaw Real Estate has been the University of Illinois' exclusive property manager for well over five years. This engagement has been for the purpose of providing full service property management of apartment properties acquired and operated as apartments until such time the properties are razed and the land is redeveloped.

Under this a typical and difficult scenario, Ramshaw Real Estate has adapted extremely well and through the years their exemplary property management and maintenance staff has performed at a high level. The staff has consistently leased apartments and generated rental revenues beyond client expectations given the softening market conditions and the market's perception that with University acquisition, redevelopment soon follows. This is not always the case and Ramshaw Real Estate has effectively managed the University's apartment portfolio in spite of this perception and the uncertain future situation.

The University has found that the in-house maintenance staff is highly qualified and cost effective and makes every effort to be responsive and thorough when addressing tenant issues, as well as maintaining the property is appropriate fashion.
