The booming nightlife is the envy of many larger communities. ![]() Brimming with the energy of a classic downtown area, Downtown Urbana provides all the benefits associated with cosmopolitan living, without the big-city hassles. The nightlife and restaurants are just steps away, and the Urbana Free Library ranks in the top 1% of libraries nationwide. Lincoln Square Mall and the outdoors Farmer's Market it hosts throughout much of the year are also major attractions. Apartments located downtown are typically highly sought after, particularly in some of the newer metro-style buildings. ![]() A community that residents enjoy living and working in, the West Urbana neighborhood was recently honored for its sustainability efforts and selected as one of 10 Great Neighborhoods in America for 2007 by the American Planning Association.
